Adoption Process

The first step in getting a Willow Wood Westie is to go thru the application process.   It is extremely important that my pups go to the right homes.  I have a list of questions and I do require that we speak on the phone.  Just as you should be picky about the breeder you are getting your puppy from.  I am picky about the family that is getting one of my pups.   Once we have decided that things are a good fit I will take a deposit to hold your new puppy.   I DO NOT SELL WITH BREEDING RIGHTS SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK.  I go above and beyond to make sure that every puppy I offer a new family has a wonderful start in life.   My pups are loved on and socialized every day of their lives starting at birth.  I believe that this is a vital role in proper development and I can't keep my hands off them.   Once a puppy is able to walk and move around freely I start introducing them to the outside world.  They are exposed to many different sounds and sights.  Small children and other animals.     They are started on a vaccination schedule and parasite protocol.  By the age of 8 weeks your precious baby is ready to meet his or her new mom and d

I completely understand that purchasing a puppy from the internet sight unseen is to say the least a very nerve racking, scary , unfamiliar way to add a new member of the family.  So for that reason I do things a bit different.  I offer an updated video of your new puppy at 2 weeks of age.  5 weeks of age and then at 7 weeks of age.  Puppies develop quickly and I want new mom and dad to get as much enjoyment in watching their new babies grow and develop as I do.   If you click on the you tube icon on this page you can view the video library !!!

When it is time for a new puppy to go to his or her new forever home I make sure they have everything they need to get off to a wonderful start.   You will receive.

1.  Registration Application upon proof of spay or neuter. 

2.  Sample of nutri source small breed puppy.

3.  Up to date vaccination and worming record.

4.  Copy of my 5 year guarantee.​

5.  24 hour support from me regarding care or training tips should you need them.

I prefer that new families come meet me or my husband to pick up their new puppy.  My family does prefer we meet at neutral public location.  If it is a trip that can be made in a weekend then it is a small sacrifice in time compared to the next 15 years with your new puppy.  It is also  less stressful on the puppy.   If making a trip is too much I can deliver your puppy to you.  Please review the delivery options.
